My brother pulls me out of the way as my mother is hit by a car when I was 3 years old in the year 1988 on the Pacific Avenue street, just blocks from where we live in the Rose Grove Community, in Forest Grove, Washington County, Oregon, United States.
It was after observing the gymnastic practice or competition in down-town Forest Grove. After getting off the Tri-Met bus number 57, as we went across the street at night, my mother did not see this car or truck that went on to hit her.
My mother ended up getting a cast on her broken arm. We had to help her out on housework for the next few months.
Trusted neighborhood friends took us to their house, where we played hide and seek, until out father went on to take us home to some grape juice into my half cup half bottle sipping cup of mine. We later went to the hospital to see mom.
Something may have happened to the glasses of my mother.
