Hiking Mount St. Helens

Hiking Mount St. Helens.

I would hang out with my best adult-hood friend Matthew Thomas Kurtz. I would go to his house. We would play Star Craft, War Craft, Risk, Settlers, Chess, Checkers, Mario, Nintendo, Playstation 3, Magic (card game), and watch movies and shows. We would make videos. We would have many adventures. I miss those good old days.

On one Monday, the 23rd of April 2012, me, Matt, Danny Magna, Mario, and Mikey, rode in Danny's or Mario's car to Mount St. Helen. Matt lives in Vancouver, Washington USA. It took a few hours, even while speeding, to get to the mountain. I had my camcorder. I took some video. Matt turned some of those videos into photos. You can find them on his Facebook (FB). We had some fun while hiking trails for some hours but we did not climb up the mountain. We did not really go up at all. We did see some snow and skiers.

Animals Are Dying

Animals Are Dying.

I wrote and sang and played on guitar the song Animals Are Dying during the 2nd or so week of April 2009 after spending around 10 days with Lincoln Hawk in Long Beach, California USA.

I wrote this song for the Fur Protesters who march and shout and chant and yell with signs in front of a fur shop in Portland, Oregon USA, just blocks from my apartment.

Months later, one of those guys allegedly sets himself on fire in protest, to get publicity towards the awareness that animals are skinned alive.

Pocketball

Pocketball.

When I was 19 years old, in 2004, during my last year at the Forest Grove High School, home of the Vikings, for my required Senior Project, I invented a game, a sport, that is like pool with pool balls, similar to carpetball (gutterball), and I named it Pocketball. My church friend Paul Walker served as my so-called mentor, mostly to get me out to around Banks, Oregon USA to the farm house of the Hoefts out in the countries where we spent weeks constructing a 5 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 4 feet high of a table made of wood. I was taught about how to use power tools for screws and for cutting wood. I also had experience in wood construction from my Woods 1 & 2 classes in high school. I also had a welding class back in ninth grade in the year 2000.

I donated this Pocketball table to my Community Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Oregon. The pastor was Bill Gasser. They kept the table downstairs in a room near the youth group rooms so that the children and youth can play it. They kept the table there for several years. i am not sure what they did with it.

In 1998 when I was 13 years old, I saw Armageddon in the big screen, but I cannot remember which big screen at the moment.

Power Rangers Kids Sequel

Power Rangers Kids Sequel.

I started filming the sequel to our hour-long 1996 live-action parody film Power Rangers Kids. The nemesis in the first film was Lot. In the sequel, the new nemesis was Loxx Catt, which was played by our cat Puffer Cat who ended up being murdered that same year of 1997 I think. This may have the same camcorder that my dad bought my brother back in the 1st or so of February 1996, or eventually our dad got us another one, but both of them had problems and I never finished the sequel. I recorded a few minutes for the sequel while my brother was at school, but I think he did not want me to use the camcorder or I am not sure what was happening.

Apollo 13

Apollo 13.

Almost every year, our aunt and uncle, Karen and Jim Williams, would drive around two hours from Warrenton, Oregon USA to Forest Grove to pick one or more of us Arnold family members, and they would usually drive us in their luxury car back to their house. That is four hours for them, there and back. They would usually come sometimes for the Independence Day holiday, which is the 4th of July each year.

They would also come sometimes for Christmas each year, which is the 25th of December of each year. I actually think they did come twice a year to see us.

In the year 1995, in July, when I was ten years old, they picked up just me, Joey Arnold, and I was so excited since this was always the highlight of my year.

They asked me what film I wanted to see in the big screen and I demanded for the Power Rangers; The Movie. Instead, i was like figuratively dragged into a big screen in I think Astoria, Oregon USA, and we saw the film Apollo 13, which stars actor Tom Hanks, and I was not sure what to think then, but now, and as I got older, I began to appreciate Tom Hanks and other things in life.


I almost drown at the beach one night. I am usually with them for a weekend each year, except for one year it was like 9 or so days.

I was not actually drowning.

I was full of sand. The waves were high.

I was with just Jim.

When we got back to their house, I showed Karen how high the waves are with my hands and she gave her scared to death face.

Sometimes, I would pick up golf balls with Jim at golf courses.
